Through the end of the year, dresses and tops will maintain their volume thanks to oversized shirting, expanded silhouettes, and a continuation of the puff sleeve trend. The latter will, if anything, liven up all the soft pants you'll likely still be wearing on the bottom.

High Heels

This year's most popular shoe silhouette is boosted for a retro-inspired lift with sky-high heels, flatforms, loafers, ankle-strap heels, boots, and even clogs. Give your micro-heels a vacation now because thick soles are all the rage in 2022.

Whale Tail

The whale tail has returned. Want proof? Beyoncé made an appearance in British Vogue in December wearing a red gown by Christopher John Rogers with a matching G-string. Kim Kardashian posed for Matthew Williams' first Givenchy advertisement a month earlier while wearing a black maxi dress and an obvious red thong. But even though it may not be entirely shocking to see celebs sporting the contentious Y2K trend nearly 20 years after it peaked, its resurrection on Instagram's most stylish users and in stores is simply perplexing.
