Description
One of the many symbols of summer here in Japan: Kakigori. Its basically what I guess is called shaved ice. Ice flakes with syrup flavoring on it. A rather simple summer snack I guess but its great during a hot day! The Chinese character on this cup (and many cups you get at a festival or convenience store) says ice and it is a bit shredded on purpose.
